    dancing in the shower, choreographing broadway numbers while home alone and in front of the mirror, flamenco, ballet, modern, polka dancing with my baba, jazz, you name it....
  4. giving:
    i try to give. and when i don't i feel guilty. So when I don't give, I take...from myself.

    So I'll try to give more.
  5. international development:
    Don't get me wrong - I don't want to develop "the international", whatever that means. But I think about how I can help people who want help, whether they live here or elsewhere. And I like living "elsewhere" so maybe it should read "working and living abroad".
  6. my new apartment:
    french doors and hardwood floors... what can i say? I LOVE my APARTMENT!
  7. prince:
    yeah, I know. bad 80s pop.

    but no!!!

    prince had talent, man.
  8. riverbank paths:
    meewasin means "beautiful" in Cree.

    Ever run past the psych centre as the sun is going down? Sounds scary, but the view from that trail is the most beautiful site in the world. Honestly.
  9. smoking bans:
    I'm allergic.

    Ever see the ad with the waitress who was dying of lung cancer?

    I used to work in a diner in Montreal, the smoking capital of Canada.

  10. trampolines:
    Because I believe in defying gravity, even after the age of 30.

Forcing people to smoke outdoors in Canadian winters is Great Social Policy. The government has finally learned to use the weather to its advantage!

It's just that 30 seems to be associated with maturity for some reason. One association that I plan to challenge quite forcefully when I get there.

Would this mean that my addiction to obtaining specific items would start to get torn down, and my jacket would turn into one that's multi-purpose, or at the very least, polygamous in what it goes with?

I'm making good progress at work this week. I'm going to try and pull a 12 hour one today so I can finish up what I have and play hookie tomorrow.

you better believe I really like you.
I'm on hour 6 right now, however, and things are progressing smoothly and beautifully, so I may not need to do a 12 hour one.

Know what's beautiful? A lot of people have been sick this week after the fuddruckers event. Apparently a lot of people got food poisoning, and there's also a nasty virus going around... half our development team has been throwing up at home this week - playing hookie should be a breeze. ;)
